okay so i wicked wanna make a rollah coastah out of the steel wire rame flower thingies. When fiddleing with the objects i looked around at the things i thought they looked like tracks. Not train tracks but roller coaster tracks. So i would construct a miniature coaster out of the wire, and other objects to make the verticle supports. I would make several passenger cars and a little station where my imaginary miniature passengers will wait in line. I will probably spray paint it to have a cool rolller coaster color scheme and even have a theme to it.
I think the idea of a rollah costah is cool but I am not sure if the chosen challenge object will do what you hope. So re-reading your proposal are you planning to just make a your coaster out of wire? And "vertical supports" from...? Maybe a some more drawings would help to see what you think will be going on here.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Smitty about some more drawings - but I think the roller coaster idea is really creative!! The mini passenegers and lines and cars are going to be so cute! How are you going to make the cars (would they move?!) This whole thing sounds fun to me!! I hope the material works for you! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI really love miniatures like this, so I hope you can make it! My only concern is getting the wires to bend and attach to each other if you want the car to be able to move. I also agree that more drawings would be helpful. You'll also probably have to do some physics to figure out how to get the car to stop/go at the right points. It sounds like a challenge, but I wish you good luck!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how that material works, but i can totally see your idea coming together! even if you just use a few of those green things for major rollah coastah loopiness, and then used more malleable wire for the base and the rest of the tracks. Are you going to make a base for it to sit on? I would love to see this one get done! I want you to actually make the little people! what could you make them out of? great idea!

ReplyDelete" rollah coastah" !!! I like this idea! The only problem you may have is that the " steel wire rame flower thingies" is pretty soft... It might be hard to construct. I believe you can come up a idea to let it happen! Good luck!
